Our Beginnings
Our story starts in my birthplace, Rekero Village, where the sun rose over the savannah and dreams stretched as far as the horizon. As a child, I trekked 10 kilometers daily to Endoinyo Erinka Primary School, a journey etched in dust and determination. Later, in Nkoben, I earned my primary certificate—but the road ended there. The distance to high school, the lack of resources, and the isolation of our remote Mara village shut the door on my education. Yet, in that struggle, a vision took root: one day, I would build a school for children like me, so their dreams wouldn’t be buried by circumstance.
Our Mission
Today, Reto Foundation stands as the fulfillment of that vow: a beacon for young boys and girls who deserve a future unshackled by distance or poverty. This is more than my story—it’s the story of a community rising, one dream at a time.
Challenges We Face
Building a brighter future for our children comes with many challenges. Remote locations make access to quality education difficult. Resources are scarce, and poverty forces many children to abandon school for survival. Despite these obstacles, we remain committed to breaking these barriers and ensuring education is accessible to all.
Our Commitment
From humble beginnings as a watchman and waiter to becoming a safari guide, my journey has been one of perseverance. I trained tirelessly, honing my knowledge of the African wilderness, crafting unforgettable moments under the vast savannah skies. Yet, my heart never strayed from that childhood promise. Through Reto Foundation, we are dedicated to providing education, resources, and opportunities to uplift the next generation.

The future is bright, but there is still much to do. We envision expanding our reach, building more schools, and empowering more children. With support from individuals and communities, we can ensure that no child’s dream is cut short due to circumstances beyond their control.
